Plug-ins for Bart's PE Builder

Theses plug-ins are designed to work with Bart's PE Builder v3.  If you have no idea what PE Builder is I suggest you head on over to http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder. They are in cab format so you can add them from within PE Builder v3.11 or above.

WSH Support

This plug-in will add WSH support to PE Builder. That means you will be able to run .vbs .wsh and .js scripts. All files required to enable this support are included in your Windows installation. There is no need to copy any files. PE Builder will find them.

Restoration 2.5.14

Restoration 2.5.14 was written by Brian Kato. It is a freeware file recovery program that runs great in PE Builder. Along with the plug-in you will need to visit Brian's site and download a copy. Restoration is not included in the plugin.

Visual Basic 5 & 6 Support

This plug-in will add support for Visual Basic 5 & 6 programs.All files required to enable this support are included in your Windows installation. There is no need to copy any files. PE Builder will find them.

Map Network Drive

This plugin will add Map Network Drive and Disconnect Network Drive to the system submenu of the nu2menu. All files to use this plugin are already included with your Windows installation. There is no need to copy any files. PE Builder will find them.

Run Dialog

This plug-in will place the run command on the root of the nu2menu. This is the same run dialog as in Windows. The only problem is, it displays at the upper left corner of the screen, instead of the bottom right. RunDlg.exe is freeware written by me, Benjamin Cordingley.

This plugin requires the Visual Basic 5 & 6 plugin to run.

StartNet

This plug-in is a window based replacement for the command line based StartNet.cmd. It has been tested with netcfg.exe, but also should work with snetcfg.exe. To use it, install the plug-in from inside of PE Beuilder. You will also want to comment out the following line in the nu2menu.xml file:

<MITEM TYPE="ITEM" DISABLED="@Or(@Not(@FileExists(@GetWinDir()\setupldr.bin)), @Not(@FileExists(@GetWinDir()\system32\factory.exe)))" CMD="RUN" FUNC="@GetProgramDir()\startnet.cmd">Start Network Services</MITEM>

StartNet was written with AutoIt, and the source is included.
